Great documentary with Rich Hall on BBC4 now, so much WTF?! It’s great.

Did I say it was great?

Really enjoyed all of his America documentaries that I’ve seen. He’s got a good insider/outsider perspective. I remember the Texas one being particularly interesting.

I will definitely be watching this one.

I really enjoyed it, in fact I think I recommended it on here the other day and someone posted a youtube link.

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t this down a year or two back? I changed channel when it came on. Sure I’ve seen it before….

Think I’ve seen it already in that case!

On a similar-ish theme, I’ve always liked Jonathan Meades. Similar inside enough to add insight and authenticity; outside enough to be objective, and take the piss where necessary.

A very British assessment of Birmingham (if a little dated)

    I like Rick Hall’s essay’s. always good.
But when he gets in to full on ranty mode, he takes some beating.
