26,602 kb spreadsheet to send to someone

    googlemail seems to have melted

It aint the official secrets act but I’d like to be “sure” I can take it down again once it’s been collected by them. Where can I put it / how can I transfer ?

I have some webspace from my ISP. it has a name but that’s all – I have no “website”. Could I just ftp to that somehow ?

    It’s a one-off event, if that helps

Burn to disc & send / courier securely?

    Often the easiest way

You should be able to get the ftp logon details from your ISPs website

    26MB excel file is hefty.

You sure it needs to be that big? Check for redundant formatting bloating the file.

Zipping Excel files is very efficient too BTW.

If you use it free, it’s kind of insecure, but there is a pay-for-it service which is supposedly more secure.

    thanks luvs !

have uploaded it to my webspace 8) At least I think so 😳

unzipped because I’m not one for waiting for sensible advice before acting

remains to be seen whether my recipient can see it I guess

    cheers
