Morzine, 12 days DH riding. Options so far-

    BMC for £45
Direct Travel for £16 (claimed with last year for borken wrist expenses, but won’t cover “cycling on vertical paths”)

    Snowcard are more £
Dogtag- looks like gimicks = ££

    Any other recommendations?

Dunno but I’m interested in this too for a week in Verbier.

Assume these are just for personal cover – you found anything for covering the bike yet?

Not too concerned about covering the bike.. that’d just mean a much bigger premium

I don’t if this is what you are looking for, but try ilovemybike.co.uk

    Nope, travel insurance.

Also would not touch anything connected to the ETA- spam galore!

I’ve got insurance from STA travel last couple of years, though I am far from being a student, it’s quite good value.

Snowcard for me. They settled after my humpty dumpty moment last year with no particular problems.

I’ll use them again this year, if they’ll insure me.

dogtag are well marketed, then hand u over to a really bad claims handling firm if u make a claim and I had to threaten legal action before they would pay out on a straight forward and fully supported claim.

    don’t touch them

I found Tesco cheap for France/swizterland they wasn’t bothered about zooming down the side of a mountain as long as I didn’t race.

try sports cover direct. i go for their ‘top up’ options which allows me to add on MTB riding on top of my standard insurance that i get through another party.
