Tell you what’d be ideal… A Knog rubber mount, like their mini lights, but with a simple little compass. Nothing fancy, just enough to have an idea what direction I’m going when I’m on a bit of a randomée.

Wouldn’t the ferrous bits of your bike influence the compass reading?

In that case you have a kjng headset, remove stemcap and admire headset instead, fit the compass above -sorted
