    Ilkley moor mud fest today, lesson learnt, should have known better. Will stay off it for now.

    My best ever ride on Ilkley Moor was during a really hard frost. Bring on the cold weather 🙂

    Agreed. Seeing as we shouldn’t really be on there at all, there’s no point ploughing it up at the moment. As Simon said, roll on the sub-zero temps though…!

    Yep, it’s a complete mess, some paths have almost disappeared over the last couple of months, so bad I’ve not been on it for ages and I used to go all the time. It’s going to be difficult for it to recover after just getting drenched all summer. Shame.
