All done at last – feel completely cheated on the bat one – suffice to say if you think about it at all you’re overthinking it.

    Spoiler:

Argh, still stuck on the camo saw blade and the envelope… even reading the entire thread several times I can’t work them out!

Envelopes can usually be bought in two different colours.

In what situation would camouflage be useful?

Thanks, all done! I had tried the answer to the envelope ages ago but was spelling it wrong!

Just got the guy-in-the-window one. Would never have got there if he hadn’t popped up in the news recently. 70/80….

Yeah, really worth using Google as a spell checker for some of the names.

So which one we all having a go at next? Did the the tube stations one a few years ago, that was a proper say what you see.

The spring and the dancing ladies have been bugging me for days!

They are both tricky. One is a place you’ve probably not heard of so you need to say what you see. The other needs quite specific art knowledge so can’t really be worked out or guessed

I got the dancing girls by putting in a type of french sausage that I thought were on the otter

I think a few people got that one by random chance of a wrong answer to another clue.

How come both Metropolis and Gotham won’t be excepted?

Probably because they are wrong. Both are actually real cities although one of yours is better than the right answer

    nickjb

gorilla – he has a name

otter (read the earlier clue but can only think of rotterdam which is wrong) – it’s a little tenuous but there is another. Getting warmer, although maybe better to get colder.

emerald stone – the only fictional city, although I believe it is the nickname of another city in the game

It is very relevant. Can’t tell you without giving it away. It’s pretty small though, and hard to spell
