Surprised at the lack of Cannock chase content. I’ve had three or four events over the years. The most notable was the meet up at the German cemetery car park to view/take part with the acts of a well known porn star in the back of a transit. In the passenger seat was another gentleman with a young lady on her knees in the floor well.

And on the cottaging thing, our local chaingang used to meet at the entrance to a park. One saturday morning one of the guys (who’d been out on the beer the night before) decided he needed a quick trip to the toilets before starting the ride.
Didn’t realise the toilets were a notorious pick up/cottaging spot for the locals. Well, either that, or he didn’t realise the place would still be active at 9 on a saturday.

It was. Scarred for life doesn’t even come close.

I was once setting off for a quick blast around Pitsford reservoir and noticed a couple on the slope by the car park kissing enthusiastically. 23 mins later I’m cycling up aforementioned slope and looked up only to get a porn POV. They were at it like wild animals and didn’t bat an eyelid despite my angry wasp rear hub at the time.

Did they shift around to let him sit and do his business?

There’s a big park called Casa de Campo in the centre of Madrid near to where I live. Well-known place for dogging / cruising, but I thought that just went on at night.

There was a mountain bike World Cup cross country race there a couple of times. Hookers actively touting for business as we pre-rode the course.

A few years ago daughter came home from a day’s riding in Wharncliffe Woods. She had only just past her driving test.
After having her tea and unpacking she realised that she had left her gloves on a boulder in the top carpark
Her dad took her back to pick them up. Gloves were still there and the carpark was full of cars. The owners were doing a different kind of riding.
Could have been DH or Enduro but looked like a bit of both.
We had a bit of a laugh about it when they got back

There is a bit of a downhill trail near me starting from a long layby which is mostly shielded by trees/bushes from the road.
All the strava segments starting from it give a hint about how people use said layby at night and I was warned by a couple of mates that it might not be the best choice on a night ride.
I decided not to test if it was true although early covid it did get blocked off allegedly for repair work (nothing has been done for 2 years…)so I do now include it in evening loops.

I kid you not, the star in question was taking on local punters and others were allowed to view while it was filmed.
I tried to park and ended up parking further down the road as there was no room, it was too busy!

Seriously? They advertised themselves for this locally? How do you end up hearing of these things? Asking for a friend
