…them Saints look quite tasty. Anyone running them? How’d you find them? What other recommendations out there? Nothing that has a stupid price on it either, £40-50 max.

    I thank you.

Superstar nanos, £37. Rated 10/10 in that other magazine. I have 2 pairs; they’ve been faultless for years now.

love my saints , bashed a big rock the other day and expected
to see some damage but their isn’t a mark on them

Pins are too short by default though , removing the washer makes them stick out more

Another fan of the Nano’s here too.

All pins still intact after various rock strikes and the bearings are still smooth too.

Was going to buy Saints last week but changed my mind and got Nukeproof Electrons.

First ride Saturday and really good. Very light as well.

nanos here too, one pair is 4 years old, one side just starting to get notchy, but they have done about 5k in awful conditions

Nanos from the vendor of your choice, they are excellent. (though, the mag ones shed pins a bit easily, it’s still OK- the alu ones are tougher, not surprising really).

Nanos here too, bearings smooth pins intact. Lighter than saints also.

Dmr vaults and spank spikes look interesting but hard to justify paying twice as much.

    Nukeproof Neutron here.

    Alu body Ti axle.

    Absolutely superb.

Running Superstars new deltas on my Stumpy. Thin, light and great grip. Grip is as good, if not better than the nanos.

Nukeproof Electrons going onto XX1 cranks later this week. Been on Superstar v8 copy cheapos till now, which in all honesty have been fine, as long as you remember to regrease them every so often! It’s just that with daintly little carbon cranks, the chunky V8/V12 style pedal looks a bit silly lolliping around on the end!

A superstar nano recommend from me too. Blimmin brilliant, great grip and feel. Very smooth hearings. Much preferred to dmr v8 I had on before.

I’ve had 2 sets of the plastic Nukeproofs, tbh i thought they were rotten. Still got a set on the commuter, which works alright but the axle/centre stands too proud for the pins IMO. I know some folks like them though.

I’ve got Superstar Mag Lites, Saints and a pair of plastic Nukeproofs.

Grippidity wise Superstar & Saints feel about equal. The Nukeproofs are pretty decent too – the pins are a bit short though.

The Superstars are great pedals – they’re 3/4 years old, have had bearings change, been bashed about quite a lot but have stood up really well.

I am one of those that likes them. Got them on my 29er ht and
26er fs. But the latter one is a Camber and so you’d love that combo 😆

@tomtom, you might have done this already but it’s normally possible to crank the pins out a little on the plastic ones. Just be careful, if you do it too much you’ll spin the nut in the plastic, needs a light touch.

Bit late to the party, but, V12 Mags is all I’ve ever used.

That said they are better than everything else! 😉
