Pretty much the only time I get caught is when racing, which I only do infrequently and badly.

Usually solo rides or uplifts so never really take pictures.

Wow I could have sworn that was Ormskirk, exact same setup with the sheer rock faces, the drop that can just about be rolled etc. I’ve ridden that drop about 20 times. Spooky.

Celebratory 70th birthday ride a few weeks ago over Buckden Pike in the Yorkshire Dales

I was having quite a tough day, as my forks, (which started at 100mm) were down to about 50% travel, 🙁

My favourite photo ever of me on my favourite trail ever – the one above La Flegere in Chamonix which is long gone. The chairflit up to the trail no longer even accepts bikes. 🙁
