I’ve converted the Amazon to hydraulic brakes, modifying the cable guides on the top tube to take the hydro hose. What I’m now after is a couple of plastic “wedges” to keep it in place.

Origin 8 make some called “Hydraulic Pass Thru Inserts” and they look like this…

I’m guessing there are other brands too.

Now – does anyone have a couple, or know where I can get them without paying £37 postage from the US??

    TIA

Type bike frame buckle tube into ebay and China will ship you a handful for £2 Inc postage .they take a couple of weeks and are actually quite good .
Jagwire used to make some but not sure if they still do
    Hope that helps
    Sorry for lack of link

Aha!!  Just the job. I can wait a couple of weeks. (though don’t know what I’ll do with the other 28 😉  )

Lol I’m sure they’ll come in handy one day .I always think of having a clear out and then bang something 10 years old or so obscure comes in handy .

Knock them out on the classified for a quid a pair plus postage.

My 5% to the usual place, ta.
