Right my both my old Fox oasis and Dakine Apex packs are coming to the end of their long (well used & abused) lives and I’m thinking of replacing them both with something in between.
It definitely needs to take a 2 – 3l bladder, be able to carry my XC or Full face lid, and fit a few small tools, spares, snacks, light thermal or scrunched up jacket for a days riding. And have separate compartments so everything isn’t crammed into 1 large area.
Another requirement that would be nice, but not essential is some way to secure kneepads to it as well.

    Any recommendations?

Osprey Zealot? CRC have the 10L for £55

I have the raptor and have found it to be a brilliant piece of kit.

In true STW spirit I’m going to recommend what I have…..

Osprey, I’ve got a Raptor 10 and it’s ace but from what I can gather there all good.

This is what I have – like an Evoc 16l with full face capability etc, but the Shimano/parachute style straps. Really secure, very comfortable too:
