Thinking of doing a ride from Hurstwood over towards Hebden then back via Gorple Rd tomorrow, anybody been over there today and can advise if it’s ridable

Not been up there today but given the forecast I’d be fairly circumspect. It’s bitterly cold with a very fierce Easterly wind, driving powder. I doubt it’s pleasant up on the tops!!

Trail surfaces were no worse than you’d expect for this time of year last week.

Some snow (blowing a lot) very cold, minus four this afternoon before it got dark, icey in places. Rideable as the snow isn’t deep but dont under estimate the conditions.
