For a nice Italian slow burn road project…I was thinking either silver Phil wood or chris king hubs….what’s everyone think? I’m thinking the kings look a little better…(frame has got a king headset so far)

    CK on an Italian bike?

    They’re over priced rubbish.

I love my CK hubs but got them at bargaintastic prices ( for CK anyway). I would say they are overpriced ( but not rubbish)

Having said at that, I don’t think I’d be putting them on an Italian bike. Campag all he way.

Kings sound awful/irritating on a road bike.
Pauls components? (Industry9 internals so sound nearly as annoying as kings).
    For me…Royce

Sounds like “Italian” is important to you, in which case CK is a really odd choice – some would say wrong.

It’s a colnago master frame…I think if budget allows Royce….the campy hubs are black but it would look ok….
