I’ve tried various things to stop my saddle slipping backwards on my reverb but failing to find a solution. The latest attempt was to degrease the clamp and rails, and reassembled using carbon grease.

I’m now thinking along the lines of wire wool or sand paper to roughen the mating surfaces.

Any other suggestions? I’m likely to shear a bolt if i do it up any tighter…
