So I’ve been a tool and clicked on the last person I paid button on PayPal having typed in the right persons email…, is there a way of cancelling/reversing the transaction? I’ve raised a dispute but not sure if that’s the right thing?

Not possible to reverse I suspect. You’re best bet is to contact the payee and ask.them kindly to return the cash

Sent grovelling email to the recipient; if no joy there PayPal will refund under the item not received rules.
