As theres no food in the house I rummaged in the Store cupboard and found my Mum. Nothing unusual perhaps…

then i looked at the price tag on her slippers – £0.99 for a faux leaher pair of bootees. One of those tiny stick on price stickers from a pound shop and no barcode on the labels either.

I’m guessing she must have been sat in there from late 80’s? When did barcodes start apperaing on slipperss?

Anyway still looks ok, seemed a shame to let her out in some respects.
