There’s a reason folk have posted up older cars, that’s because you had to be a good driver to keep them on the road, no abs, no traction control, no power steering, with quite often poor braking response compared to modern cars. On the other hand they were often very much lighter than modern cars and my 30yr old Mk2 Golf Gti can romp ahead of its modern lard-ass Mk7 Gti sibling.

I love him, I work in an office, have done now for nearly 20 years. Before that I was a bench joiner and worked in a local bike shop. I drove a shit mk1 Astra 1300s (don’t forget the ‘s’, it’s important!)
Now I simply employ just over 100 people, of whom, 50 are bench joiners. I love to think that one of my lads is writing like this. It makes the next round of performance reviews seem so much more appealing….
