What I really want to know is who has the most bikes on here? Chap I used to ride with had 80+ so the rumour went.stevedeMember
Recently gone down to just one due to money being tight and the fact that the full suss just wasn’t getting used, new BFe frame yesterday (replaces a BFe but gone down a size), i’m happy with it for all the riding it does from xc to full on dh, not the fastest or comfiest tool for the job but it’s certainly got the fun factor for me.Posted 6 years ago
Rusty Spanner, on here:
Can’t access my account to link photo for some reason…
Currently in BBQ guise, but has a wicker basket that drops in instead. A good laugh for gentle summer picnic rides with the basket on!
How does anyone bring themselves to sell them? When I look at how much I paid for my bikes and the second hand value/emotional attachement I can’t do it. Reading this thread I’m not the only one!Posted 6 years ago_tom_Member
2 but am thinking of getting rid of the full sus as I do like riding it, but I can’t see much use for sofa-like 7″ of travel on the kind of trails I normally ride (Woburn dh stuff mainly but also Cannock and FOD). Was great for Whistler but too much for pretty much everything I’d normally ride..
Ideally I’ll eventually have a road bike, a decent all rounder hardtail mtb (or maybe short travel fs) and a bmx 🙂 Don’t like redundancy and living in the east midlands and having 2 mtbs that can only get used at weekends seems a bit silly to me.Posted 6 years agoemanuelMember

kilo – 19 bikes?
Yes it could be viewed as a little ott, obviously if we were the same height we could reduce the total but unfortunately that is not the case :-).
I should add two are time trial bikes and one of Mrs K’s a proper track bike so no use for anything else, four at a house in Ireland, couple of commuters, two are “best days only” road bikes so you need normal day road bikes and the rest are nice!
When Mrs K met me she didn’t cycle – and I hadn’t for many years so had no bike and she said at the time “I don’t understand why you need more than one bike”, how she’s changed!!
I think we may have enough now and I did consider getting rid of one recently (but didn’t), mind you we haven’t got a tandem yet!Posted 6 years ago
