Yes. The journey was 80 miles. And we were travelling at 80 mph. And it took us 61 minutes as we stopped for 1 minute to buy some sweets.

It depends whether you are doing 80mph or just think you are doing 80mph.

Your car speedo registers a higher speed than you are actually doing – you can easily compare this when you have your sat nav on – the speed on there is usually different…

The difference can be up to about 10%.

What if they measure the miles 10% shorter to compensate though. Have you thought about that?
