to swap a cassette and what tools do i need to do it?

Also, will a short cage mech work with a cassette up to 32 / 34 teeth?

    Cheers all

relativly simple – you need a chain whip and a cassette tool

chain whip, cassette tool, short cage with 32/34? maybe just if you are running a single ring up front around 32T

you need a lockring tool and a chainwhip.

cage length is more about the range in teeth you have between the big/small and small/big chainring/cogs – longer cage allows a bigger range.

Really simple, i sometimes do it to take the cassette apart and clean all the crap from between the individual cogs, you’d be surprised at what collects in there!…like others said you’ll need a chain whip and cassette tool.
