Sorry, I’m asking a lot of stupid technology related queries at the moment.

My sister needed a smartphone and I was supposed to be heading her way a couple weeks before the lockdown for a dental check up and offered her a Moto G5 I had sitting doing nothing.

I had to cancel my checkup due to having a cough and didn’t go.

She asked I could mail it to her the other week which I did.

I didn’t do a reset or anything, just packaged it up and sent it expecting that a factory reset would sort it all out (and wipe all my data, contacts, etc)…

Except the FRP thing has kicked in and even giving her my password it won’t let her log in. I’ve okay the google alerts and everything but because I reset the password to something simpler/non regular before giving it her and whatever, it just won’t let her log on a SMD to free up the phone for a soft reset…

Anybody know how to unlock the phone legally without having to download any (dodgy) app? Tried a fair few things but no joy…
