I joined PinkBike ages ago, but have never actually posted on there.
There’s a couple of items in the For Sale section I’m interested in, but I’m always a bit wary about sending money to strangers.
On STW, you can look at someones post history and get a bit of an idea of whether they are just using the forum as free version of ebay, or if they join in with conversations about bikes. Not that that really proves they are any more trustworthy.

So, is there any way of checking someone’s post history on PinkBike ?
If there is, I can’t see it.

Pb is much better than stw for getting a guage on members I think.

You can see a pic of them. If they have friends on the site. Their seller history. Usually some pics of them riding.

Easy to get an idea if someone is a proper rider.

I hope its not an ipad..

I can see his seller history easily enough, although there’s no feedback, but not his post history or friends.
Is there a link on the profile or somewhere that I’m missing ?

Some people just use the site for selling and are still legit, but it can be reassuring to see who you’re dealing with if they do use it for the social side too.
