How many times in the day or night do you find yourself saying “that **** alarm going off is driving me mad”, and not “I must go and investigate why that alarm is going off”

Deal with them a lot at work, monitored alarms are good, you will get a call etc if activated on more than one sensor.

I think a dog is a much better deterrent.
