    So my wife and I have just finished listening to

    The Lovecraft Investigations on BBC sounds

    Really good,, start at the beginning : The Case of Charles Dexter Ward

    The UK true crime are ok but I always fall asleep to them so only listen to the first 10 mins. I am sure they are just read from wiki as they are pretty much word for word.
