I have not been inside an enduro but have done a joystick and had a look in a Maxx they are not the easiest lights to make brighter .

Nixie has nailed it there I have had a couple of V2 users suddenly find their battery is old and not up to the extra current drain of max but so far no reported huge loss of runtime .

cb, depends how old your batteries are. I had my Vision 4 converted and it didn’t last long when using the hi for just fast/dh sections, but my battery is about 5 years old! Chris recommended getting a Smudge battery, as they’re cheaper than Hope,although that depends if you need to buy a new charger from Smudge,as not sure if he can supply bat with Hope connector. The light is brilliant now BTW. 2000lms 🙂
Will do a report when I get a new battery.

uhmmm, batteries are old but less ‘used’ than they should be due to my inertia in getting out of the house on cold winter nights…maybe worth a go.
