Help! Spent a deeply frustrating Saturday afternoon shredding my fingertips. Has the Singletrack hive mind got any fail safe techniques?

I used a cutting disc on the angle grinder then carefully pared back the clear sheath using a craft knife. One thing worth pointing out. Don’t be tempted to linger with the disc if you choose to do it this way. It can locally deform the teflon inner if you allow the heat to build up.

Park cable cutter go through it like a knife through cheese (it’s not easy enough to say butter) .

Took me 10mins to do both hoses on my recent ones.

Teasing the olive open a little more helps a lot if your cutters haven’t left you with a nice clean cut on the braiding.
