been thinking about it for a while….. got a bit of time on my hands right now too – what is the consensus?

I never done BIAB, always full mash.

However, I know people get very good results with BIAB.

I would also recommend going to Jims Beer Kit Forum

Very friendly and loads of good advice.

Ive gone from doing kits to BIAB, didn’t buy that particular kit, but I have very similar.

Big kettle, nylon bag, home made chiller.

Bought a recipe pack from brew UK and took a day out. It was very cathartic and the beer turned out very good. Way better than imagined it would and loads better than the kit stuff.

    🙂

A couple of friends BIAB and get fantastic results. They spent a little bit more and got stainless steel boilers though.
