I need a break – work has been getting on top of me lately and I’m going to drop the ball if I don’t take a bit of time off.

As it’s last minute, i’ll probably be going nobby-no-mates solo, and have the following ideas:
– warm!
– preferably with bike
– budget around £600

I was thinking one of the Spanish companies, but my fitness always drops off in the winter (stamina mostly) and I don’t want to feel like I’m holding a group of riding buddies up.

So, STW – inspire me!

Pretty laid back climbing… but plenty of it. And loads of techie or flowing singletrack.

I could also run a road trip if that suits you. Fantastic mountain roads around these parts.

Don´t worry about your fitness with us. Plenty of uplifts to save the legs for the singletrack descents. Enough guides to have split groups if needed.

Update on this – went with Sierra Cycling / Alan in the end. Had a great week with them and rode some quality trails.

Incredibly, he was fine and walked away with scratches and bruises. Lucky though! One of those crashes where everyone goes silent for a while.
