    So, had issues last night streaming a programme from 4OD, so kicked off activity monitor to see what the data rate I was getting was, and noticed that the data sent is almost exactly the same as the data received… which seemed very odd to me?

    It’s a 2012 macbook pro, on an EE Brightbox router, have tried resetting both, no luck. and searching google is like a needle in a haystack without the right search terms, for a layman like me anyways…

    Any ideas anybody?

    seems to be the same on wireless or wired connection… 😕

    nope, any website seems to do it, including accessing my router’s admin pages… stumped me!

    Does the outbound data go up even when you’re not going to a website?
    Installed anything new recently?

    it seems to track the received data pretty exactly.

    I have installed audacity and an associated library, and an apple update on saturday which was the most recent thing.
