Knowing the far reaching knowledge & expertise of the STW community, I wonder if anyone could help.
A friends daughter is looking for job/internship opportunity anywhere in the UK or abroad.
She has a BSc in Zoology and MSc in Conservation Science & is looking for something in education/outreach, natural history, taxonomy or sustainable use of natural resources & has exhausted all avenues looking for paid work.
Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome, thanks in advance.

I know two people that have forged successful careers in the sector through internships at Earthwatch in Oxford.

Tell her to monitor the Voluntary Jobs section on Gumtree…I’ve seen a few conservation positions advertised there.

For example this was posted today!

Just be aware that Natural England are about to release several hundred staff through their voluntary redundancy programme. I wouldn’t want to be looking for a job in that sector in England for the next 10 years TBH.
