Been out on the bike today secret offpiste goodness saw no one bar 2 people in the distance who had normal helmets and goggles. Not seen this in years is it a thing still or out of fashion like enduro racing? Used to do it a few years ago but now have some bike old glasses that are dead easy to stash on the back of the hemet and feel less sweaty than goggles.

I did don that particular combo once last winter, but to fair to me it was snowing horizontally…

Almost two years ago – but tbf, it’s a convertible helmet and I did have the chin bar on later

I can’t pedal uphill with goggles on me or my helmet as they just steam up.

There’s a few folk out on my local enduro trails with goggles on, while riding e bikes.

Not saying they aren’t working hard…..

Use Thor goggs with my Fox Speedframe helmet when I go to BPW, but glasses rest of the time.

I will do the goggle and trail lid if my in a which and plummet ride like golfie or the apls. I prefer the extra coverage and no chance of getting crud in my eye. I have to take them off for the climbing though as it’s too sweaty to pedal in them.

Fox Pureview for the win foer me. One of two items in my Editor’s Choice of 2024 list in the December issue of the mag. This is me demonstrating the clearance in an odd but amusing way.
