My stock of helicopter tape has finally run out. Last time I bought some I think I got it from the STW classifieds??

Anyone got a reliable source for a couple or meters worth?

Some of the stuff I got from eBay before was awful.

    Thanks

I use Viking Tapes.  They do three metre rolls of the 3M stuff.

I just got some from Tredz, I think it’s called Gusset Tek Tape but is actually 3m. 100mmX1.5m was around £11

I have a fairly sizable roll of actual helicopter tape in my garage (blade tape for Chinook rotor blades). You’re quite welcome to a lump if you like, but it only comes in matt black.

Look out for clear all weather tape from Lidl, in store about twice a year, it’s like really thick sellotape, I’ve put it on my stays to protect from heel rub and on my downtube. Only a few quid.

e-Bay. Rhino hide helicopter tape. The last lot I bought was 220microns thick and from a seller called Quality-Wear. Was good stuff.

cheers all. Would love proper chinook heli tape, but not sure it would match the bike 🙂

    I’ll try ebay

    Thanks all
