Cheapo bearings in my tapered FSA headset are on the way out. Would like to replace with some decent stainless ones, any recommended suppliers like Endurobearings or cheapest to just get the sizes and buy them from a local specialist? And what’s a reasonable price for a set of half decent ones?

I’ve used lots of suppliers …

    123bearings, Wychbearings, Simply bearings

All supply Enduro bearings, and all were quick to deliver, and decent prices.

£10-15 for a headset bearing I’d say was reasonable. Bigger the size, higher the cost.

Just get the dimensions you need, and plug them into the search on the sites above.

Depends which bearings they are. There are some fsa headsets that use a bearing which has an open slot on the inside vertical face rather than a seal and they come in a headset that doesn’t have a seal on the bottom cup. If it’s this sort, cheap as you can and change often is the best way.

With bearings, it’s always worth working out what killed the last set and buy replacements with that in mind.
