I need to send a mountain bike to Kenya, looking online the best deal I’ve seen is my baggage.com. Anyone used them or does anyone have any other suggestions or experience of doing the same?

A Kenyan would ask a relative or friend to take it as baggage and “settle” the Customs aspects at Nairobbery, Send it by airfreight or courier and Kenya Customs will hold it to ransom, no matter what value you put on it.

That’s what I was fearing, that never mind what the courier cost there would be some customs charge. Have you had any particular experience of stuff being held up in customs?
