    Resto-mods are great, but in some cases and particularly singer modifying the 964 is a waste of collectable donor car. For the price they charge it couldn’t be much more expensive to build a replica. Though that probably incurs greater set up costs.

    Yep, that ‘re-imagined’ P1800 would be very nice. And would probably cost £500K so a valid inclusion in the thread.

    the rhd is nice but, driving it to Bogna or Bournmouth isn’t quite the same as Biarritz !

    Even the nicest ‘Drivers’ are way less than £100k but this is what I fancy at the moment. It’s the top-dog 850Csi, I’ve never driven or even sat in one, frankly if the ride is all rough and ‘sporty’ I’d be happier with a 850 or even 840, it’s a big cruiser not a sports car as such.
