anyone recommend somewhere to park (i have no problem with paying), been given a last minute ticket and train not really an option for me, happy to ride or walk within 1 hour of site?

You won’t have to pay if your prepared to ride for 15-20 minutes or to walk for 30-40 minutes.
Just park down a sideroad just of the a13 in benfleet.
