You won’t ever catch me wearing a Christmas jumper either

Why’s that then, does it make you extra fast?

Or would it slow me down?

From watching my FiL wear them I’ve deduced that they are lethal in most weather conditions. I’ve watched him fall and slip in them on numerous occasions. So for comedy value 10/10.

I’ll never wear them as I’m blessed with the feet of a Hobbit and nip outside barefoot if doing the bins, chasing the dog about etc. For prolonged periods I have a pair of Sanuk sandals as I still have a slither of self respect left.

Twice I’ve come back from the shed barefoot in the dark and seen large snakes slithering across the path I would have taken. I’m often too lazy to put proper shoes on for those trips, so these are supposed to solve that issue.

My 14 year old lad, who is sooo image conscious that he’ll only wear nike and not adidas, will happily wear crocs over sliders to his football, rugby or cricket training.

You is down with the kids blood.

What the hell is wrong with a pair of old trainers with the backs trodden down?

I bought a pair of Croc-alikes from ShoeZone for less than a fiver to wear on the boat between dives due to the extra-thick socks I wore under my drysuit. Supercomfy, but my wife would disown me if I wore them in fine company…

… why are there so many holes in the crocs?  … to let your dignity run out 😉
