You can get little lights that fit on them, if it’s dark when you go to the bin.

Got ’em from Sports Direct – they were selling them off for a fiver a pair after some Euros donkeys years ago! Proper Crocs too, not knock-offs!

They’re garden shoes – but I do wear them on the beach when on holiday specifically to annoy the wife. 🤣

How in Gods name did those abominations called Crocs ever get so popular is a subject that needs debating, forget why are we here or the meaning of life 😔😔😔😔agree with woody 🙄

Haha, I finally gave in and bought my first ever pair of Crocs just before Christmas. I went with these ones:

My son, for his 18th last week, was gifted some with flashy lights in the soles.  Just like the shoes he had when he was about 5…

    They’re also Lightning McQueen-themed…

You don’t need me to tell you how ugly those crocs are but I agree the most comfortable footwear in the world is new crocs with socks. 2nd most comfortable being Birkenstocks and thick socks. They need to be worn in though so that’s a good 18 months 😀

I have a lined pair, perfect for post-ride wear.

i bought some crocs last year to help my plantar fasciitis and generally arthritic foot.

They were surprisingly hard and uncomfortable!  Had to send them back.

Bit weird because I’ve tried on other people’s and they were very soft.  So maybe it was just that pair.

Hah, I have gone to the shop in my beige Crocs. They are probably 15 years old too. Best casual bloody shoes you can get!

The wife, she will not even put them on to go to the bathroom when the floor is wet. She hates em with a passion…

I’ve always hated crocs, only fit for nurses or butchers!

Then my son got a fleece lined pair, and i put them on to nip outside with the dog, OMG they are sooo comfy!!

Have a look at Haflinger Grizzlies.

Comfier than a panda’s dressing gown.

    All terrain crocs ftw

I’m on the look out for all terrain and lined, but canne find them in my size (and wonder if you need to size up due to the lining @chakaping ?)

    Haflinger Grizzlies

Which misses the point of croc, there a ‘rubbish’ slipper that you don’t care about, but use all the time regardless of conditions outside, & everyone in the household borrows

I had steadfastly refused to wear Croc’s until my Wife brought home these….

    a fleece lined pair

OMG they’re hideous and huge (I’m a size 12UK) but soooooooo comfy!

I’m a convert of about 12 months now… excellent for putting the bins out, putting the dog out for a pee, general pottering etc.

You can fold the straps up so you can also wear them as sliders if you want, which is a usefull time/effort saver for just nipping onto the garden for a few mins.

Mine arn’t genuine crocs, they are ‘Hot Tuna’ knock offs, but exactly the same as far as I can tell, and were only about a tenner.

I did actually go out in public wearing them once as I forgot I was wearing them to just nip to the shop, at first i was mortified, but then I decided to just own it. Quite liberating! hahah!

In fact i’m rocking them right now at my desk as I’m in and out with the dog, it’s bin day, and its a bit wet outside.

Birkenstock slippers for me for daily wear (including now). But the gold crocs come out for trips to the garden and washing the bike down. Dangerous when the grip wears off. But I think they last forever, otherwise. Darth Vader on mine. Had lots of croc adornments for the kids in the past.

I’d have thought thongs* would be the obvious, more geographically-correct choice for @reeksy?

Mine were a present, but I think they were my normal size.

I like my Crocs (and Lidl Croc-Offs) on the looser side anyway.

What can I say?  They’re my Croc socks.

Can’t wear thongs or sliders @a11y as I get knee pain. Had birkenstocks 20 years ago but the arch shape doesn’t fit my feet and makes them uncomfortable. Ecco sandals were good but can’t easily slip them on for a quick visit to  the beer fridge in the garage… So Crocs it is. Going camping today must be sure not to melt them in a fire!

    They’re lovely.
Commiserations on your giving up on life.

Excellent, two things I loathe combined into one.

You won’t ever catch me wearing a Christmas jumper either
