I’ve got the phillips ones about£11 each, but quite good
Posted 4 years agoWe’ve got Philips LED gu10 replacements in warm white, work fine.
Posted 4 years agoLooking to replace the GU10’s in my house & looking at these LED replacements. Have they reached a point where they are a viable option these days ?
I remember trying some a few years back but the light was very harsh & direct.
Thinking of THESE but unsure of what to go for, for a hall, kitchen & dining room.
Posted 4 years agoThere was a thread on this quite recently with some good info on it.
I suspect that the ones linked may not be ideal, as they’re listed as 3200K-3500K for the warm white, and for a decent halogen replacement you want around 2800K.
I find that the Megaman 6W dimmable GU10s in warm white (2800K) are a near perfect replacement for halogens – unless you want to dim them. I don’t know of any that don’t look horrid when dimmed.
Posted 4 years agoI bought some Megaman GU10s from energybulbs.co.uk. About £7 each
Seem fine so far
Posted 4 years agoBeen running 3 B&Q ones in the bathroom for a couple of years now with no problems.
Got them in a 3 for 2 deal so worked out good value.
Cheers
