Definitely wins the ‘Bandiest Legs in a Film’ award.

There are some great films listed above which would be worthy of a shot at the title were it not for one simple fact. The greatest film ever was made in 1987 so as it’s the greatest film of all time, it is also, by default, the greatest film of the 80s.

Aye, it’s so hard. Awesome decade for films. Blade runner for me probably. Or Top Gun, maybe Terminator.

That’s a good point. I remember coming home from the pub one night, flicking through all four channels and seeing an interesting looking cartoon starting. I was totally awe-struck with it. Akira changed my world that night. Brilliant stuff.
