Is your ‘good lady’s perfume’ a euphemism?!

For me – the smell you open the envelope of freshly developed film (something that you don’t get nearly so often in these days of digital).

    Also burning pine wood.

Old spice after shave, the old boys in the bookies still wear it, reminds me of good days spent with my Grandad, and he’s been dead 30 odd years, crazy how a smell can bring it all back!

    Weed.

It can get too much though. There is someone growing it round here. We have been trying to work out where exactly but depending on the wind the smell has been travelling about 2 miles. It’s been very pungent for about a month.
