I’ve heard this phrase banded about, now seen some offerings from Giro.

Now don’t get me wrong I love my custom cyclocrossish bike and it’s varied applications, but in my mind the only person qualified to wear gravel specific clothing is Andy Dufresne.

Basically it’s grey because that’s what colour it always ends up as. And allows them to sell something else to IT workers.

Gravel specific clothing makes it easier for jumping off the bike running over a plank and jumping back on again.

TDF riders wear bib shorts and jerseys and cover 1000’s of miles.
Why do I need a specific one piece suit to ride 50miles+ on my gravel bike?
