Simple really. I have a link to GPX file (below). I want to get this on my garmin 800.
It won’t give me an option to ‘save as’ a GPX file.
Any help appreciated.Posted 3 years ago
Sam, is there any danger you could do the same clicky thing for the medium route (68 miles) http://agybr.eventdatasystems.net/media/520/AG-MED-01.gpx
I have tried, but turns out I’ve been blacklisted by the GPS gods.Posted 3 years ago
Right-click the link to the .gpx, then select the option to ‘Save link as..’
Then you probably need to fix your file association for .gpx files to open with basecampPosted 3 years ago
Nope tried that. It won’t load up to basemaps (just freezes on the ‘import data’ box) and when I try and use a web based program (e.g. bike hike) I get the following message:
XML error: XML_ERR_NAME_REQUIRED at line 1.
This is after I’ve changed the extension to .gpx.Posted 3 years ago
Do you have a browser other than IE? That should work.Posted 3 years ago
