OK, been using Google App’s for a bit and one the whole it’s pretty awesome -the sharing bit at least.

We have a shared Google Drive which if I want to access I need to be online. I know I can have a copy on my HDD and this can also sync with the cloud based version as and when……however the HDD on my laptop is not big enough to hold all the data.

Can I sync Google Drive with an external HDD linked to my laptop?

Cheers, seems simple but as it’s so much data to download I’d rather ask than simply have a try so I can save time

In Google Drive (the application), do you not just change the folder location to where you want it to be?

So, plug in your USB drive, create a folder on it, change settings in Google Drive to that folder?
