Can anyone recommend a good cheap video editor for use on Windows 8?

Don’t want anything too complicated as I’m not planning on doing anything radical with it, just want to crop & edit a few bits & pieces occasionally, hence the ‘cheap’ bit (free would be really nice) as well.

I could really do without it being an on-line editor as well if at all possible because I can’t guarantee I’ll always have access to the interweb.

    Cheers

I found go pro studio a tiny bit better to use than wmm, bit buggy though so keep saving.

I’ve always used WMM for simple stuff. Not sure about win 8 but for previous versions you had to download an extra (free) pack to get all the features.

TBH I didn’t even know about Windows Movie Maker. I can’t find any reference to it on my machine so I guess I’ll see if I can find a download of it.

    Cheers.

I like this software and some of their other tools.

I do get a bit peeved with their marketing though as they try to install other tools rather than just the one you want.

WMM should already be installed, but if not:
