    I eventually got the thing to charge off the mains.

    I did the update, I have been able to to take some stills but no video (it records the sound only).

    I then re formatted the micro SD ( class 10 Sandisk)

    Any Idea’s ? before I send it back.

    Is it a real Sandisk?

    See this thread and test the card. Also use the search on that forum, I’m sure there have been others with the same problem.

    I hope so bought it from Currys, direct from a shop, as I was in a hurry.
