im thinking along the lines of a ‘train’ version of skyscanner….. put in your station, select ‘anywhere’, and see what it brings up. cheapo tickets to visit places youd never have considered before, just for a jolly.

does such a site exist? i havent managaged to find one yet but im sure if it does exist, someone on here will know about it….

    cheers

aye, bit better than what i expected, but still hampered by only listing specific routes. my station only has 1 available destination for instance.

thanks tho, still worth a look if we fancy a trip to london some time.

Depending on what you are wanting to do and over what timescale, have you considered an Interrail pass?

Yes sorry it doesn’t do that I don’t think. The very stop start station by station nature of rail travel and absence of specified ticket guaranteeing a seat apart from reservations, might mean such a website isn’t required or practical? Seat61 is the best next bet as gives details of country by country travel then maybe the one I suggested for the different legs?
