anyone else having problems with gmail/YouTube not been working for the past few hours?.

yep. My home email is hosted by them and at work we use Google Classrom and Drive as well as slides and docs. All down for us.

EDIT: Youtube is being very wonky. What am I supposed to do at work all afternoon? They can keep Gmail offline until Friday night ideally.

Seems to be bouncing around a bit. I got told my gmail account did not exist, then I logged in fine, then I couldn’t see any YT videos, then it was fine. Not what we expect from Google.

Any my MS Teams meeting was a disaster as it slows to unusable whenever I open and share Powerpoint

gmail still down for me. Thankfully youtube is working and I can get my Forgotten Weapons fix!

rare for now… wouldn’t be surprised if this kind of thing starts to happen more often though! There was a big AWS outage recently, mainly affected US servers I think, loads of people moaning on the smart home forums that their Alexa automations, smart hoovers etc were borked 🤣
