“The Wee Curry Shop” is nice; there’s a couple of them I think.

I knew before I opened this there would be a deep fried mars bar on here 🙂 – but I’ll raise you a battered pizza (pizza crunch) supper:

Mother India Cafe across from the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Indian food in a tapas style, no booking so only issue is you may have to wait for a table if it’s busy . Well worth it and reasonable prices.

Truly authentic. Surroundings are humdrum, food is amazing.

Brel in Ashton Lane for some Belgian Beer and a big pot of mussels. The Rio Cafe on Woodlands Road for a good pie, beans and chips and a pint of Belhaven. Ketchup on Ashton Lane for a good burger (only disappointing thing is fries are an extra). Mother India for a good curry. Asia Style on St Georges Road for a Chinese (never went but apparently very good).

In the city centre, I’d second Gandolfi. Also the Italian Cafe, Brutti Ma Buoni or Fratelli Sarti. In the west end it has to be Stravaigin.
