I suppose it was inevitable really. The wet, gritty ride at the weekend has resulted in the blaady fing seizing. High hopes I had, but it’s conked-out just like all the other adjustable seaposts (except maybe the GDs).

The cable release was rather gritty so I stripped and cleaned it at both ends and it pulls the internal release lever just fine, but the thing wont go down. Back to the shop.
